Cartoons Friday!
Last weekend's political cartoon day was so popular we're back with another, plus an "isolated vocals" Beach Boys classic (new box coming) and trailer for Anthony Bourdain film.
Hot visual takes below but first here’s that brand new trailer for the much-anticipated Anthony Bourdain doc by Morgan Neville, coming July 16, titled Roadrunner—and, yes, with use of the classic Jonathan Richman song of that name. But did Tony ever drive past the Stop & Shop—with the radio on? Maybe not in Bangkok or Peru. As usual, share, comment, subscribe.

News emerged yesterday of an upcoming box set on the much-overlooked Beach Boys recordings (and 108 demos/alternates etc.) from late 1960s to early 1970s. Don’t miss below the isolated vocals on classic “Till I Die.”

His new film, Atomic Cover-up, just had its world premiere and is drawing extraordinary acclaim. For nearly all of the 1970s he was the #2 editor at the legendary Crawdaddy.
