Also, speaking of throwbacks: Amid new interest in “We Are the World” due to new Netflix doc, Mark Knopfler has put together a charity song release out soon, featuring 60 of his musician/singer buddies, with Jeff Beck in his final appearance plus Springsteen, Gilmour, Joan Jett, Clapton, Townshend, Sting and etc. It’s a re-make of his “Theme from ‘Local Hero’”, original here:
