Greg Mitchell is the author of more than a dozen books (see link) and now writer/director of three award-winning films aired via PBS, including “Atomic Cover-up” and “Memorial Day Massacre” which are still up at PBS.org. Before all that, he was a longtime editor of the legendary Crawdaddy. You can still subscribe to this newsletter for free.
Just did a cartoon collection five days ago but the Sam I Am (Awful) controversy seemed to require a quick response. But first, a new song from Norah Jones (kind of Bacharach style) from Thursday’s Colbert show.
Always loved her live cover the The Kinks “Strangers” (written by Dave, not Ray, Davies)
And a previous Colbert appearance, helping out on Sharon Van Etten’s great “Seventeen.”
