Brilliantly illustrated by great cartoonists!

This was a totally missed opportunity for the press to stand up to Trump.

or like Bruce Springsteen ... used their acceptance of the award to say something meaningful as Bruce always does (recently to the ACLU). “If I can, I will accept this award tonight for the folks who really deserve it. It’s the citizens from all walks of life in Minnesota, Portland, Los Angeles, Newark, and our other under siege cities who this year put their beliefs and their lives on the line in defense of the rights of their neighbors and in service of our American ideals.” Then he sang “Streets of Minneapolis.”

The "correspondents", "journalists", and hangers-on who clapped at "4th term" remarks from the pussy grabber should be drummed out of the profession. What in the HELL is wrong with them?

Good cartoons, with the exceptions of Ramirez (again) and Margolis & Cox.

I don’t understand why the journalists even attended the dinner. Why give trump an audience? and shaking trump’s hand after getting an award? I think the room should have been empty with the exception of trump’s minions. Let them eat rubber chicken and admire the chandeliers. That’s all they’re good for.

Jokes were good. The reporters should have supported each other and walked. Three cheers for Bruce. He always speaks Truth and defends Democracy in his own way.

Margolis E Cox is a disgrace

"Jeff Tiedrich, who writes a very funny Substack called “everyone is entitled to my own opinion,” which you should be reading daily not only for its humor, but for its attitude, has had a recurring theme in his column, that the first reporter who stands up and asks Trump “what the fuck is wrong with you,” should receive what Tiedrich calls a “lifetime Pulitzer.”

Yes sir, Jeff! This is what I've been saying for a long time too. Someone has to ask trump, right to his bloated face, just that. A lifetime Pulitzer would be the least of the accolades they would receive. It is inexplicable that "nobody" there stood up to him and his insults. Come on, man!
