Cartoons Thursday!

Greg Mitchell is the author of a dozen books and now writer/director of award-winning films. He was the longtime executive editor of the legendary Crawdaddy. Something a bit unusual this week to kick it off, as the Washington Post has just deleted and apologized for a cartoon by prominent longtime right-winger Michael Ramirez that drew condemnation by many yesterday. Here is the Post story and the cartoon below.

Margo Price did this song acoustic on “The Daily Show” last night—unusual free verse—desperate woman and abortion choice—here with strings….Also check her out with another great, Molly Tuttle, on Austin City Limits this month, as I noted a few days back. Great writer—and wild rock drummer!
