Been extremely busy with Oppenheimer-related interviews and articles and chatting about my book, so not posting as often here this month, and it looks like that will continue for a few more days. My appearance yesterday on Democracy Now! (see below) has drawn unusually wide attention, and ongoing, but I wanted to mention one thing up top here. The crew over there posted a link on their site to this newsletter while intending it for my new and quickly popular Substack spinoff, Oppenheimer: From Hiroshima to Hollywood, on the man, the movie, The Bomb (and corrected it today). I can tell from my records that a good number of folks subscribed to Between Rock and Hard Place thinking they’d be getting Oppenheimer. At the same time, a lot of people apparently searched for me on Google and were also directed to Between Rock and some subscribed.

Onward, to the weekly edition here of hot political cartoons, and a song at the bottom.

Peak Bob Marley & The Wailers, 1973, “Get Up Stand Up (For Your Rights),” about the time I first caught him live on first U.S. tour, over three nights at little Max’s Kansas City in NYC in a double bill with….new guy from Jersey, name of Springsteen…
Loved your interview on Democracy Now
