John Oliver’s discussion should be required viewing for everyone so that they can understand the damage that has been done. It took decades to build USAID, and I am not sure it can ever be rebuilt, even after all the Repugnitwits are gone from the House and Senate and, most importantly, from the Oval Office.
Country Joe and the Fish were such a major part of the music scene back then. Their experimental music was among the best. What a period of social and creative ferment.
