Didn’t watch the inauguration but the media reports—and general lack of alarm there (a lot of proud boys and girls)—were chilling enough to last….four years? So we’ll let the cartoonists speak again today. Though I kept thinking of the dread embodied in Neil Young’s classic “Powerfinger.” The closer they get the more that feeling grew….

Update: This just in, Garth Hudson, last surviving member of The Band, has died.
