Just a quickie as earlier postings here of photos/articles/trailers for the upcoming (Christmas) Dylan bio-pic have all provided popular. A new sort of “behind the scenes” featurette just dropped and it focuses on the making of the music as authentic as possible. Claims are made about Timothee singing like Bob (not bad but then our man was no Caruso) and Elle Fanning as Joanie (not that close). Not enough to judge Edward Norton as Pete Seeger. Anyway, enjoy:
An earlier one from a month ago:
The film apparently has a good deal on the Dylan-Cash brotherhood, so if you have never seen this prized clip of them in the studio back in the day (1969?):
Extract from absolute peak of pre-electric Bob, “Chimes of Freedom” at Newport, 1964.
Coming in 2025, happy to field inquiries now…

These two clips for A Complete Unknown look fantastic. Good backstory on original performances for all actors involved. Also--and I think I have this right--thank you for being responsible for printing the beautiful, long essay on Dylan's (and others') take on "Days of '49" from Self Portrait.
