Gaz-A-Lago and Other Outrages
Two new films and a dozen cartoons: Trump's criminal plan for a new 'Riviera'. Don't worry, Bibi.
Greg Mitchell is the author of more than a dozen books (see link) and now writer/director of three award-winning films aired via PBS, including “Atomic Cover-up” and “Memorial Day Massacre” which are still up at PBS.org. Watch trailer for my acclaimed 2025 film “The Atomic Bowl.” Before all that, he was a longtime editor of the legendary Crawdaddy. At Blue Sky and Twitter: both as @gregmitch. On top of—or to distract from—all of the other lunatic and/or evil plans already underway, Trump late yesterday declared his notion (possibly proposed by Jared) for the U.S. to clear out Gaza, easily find a new home for 1.5 million Gazans, and turn it into a new Riviera for “internationals,” as he put it. Bibi, won’t you follow me down? he more or less asked, with the Israeli strong man (war criminal, if you wish) sitting next to him.
Below we offer a few cartoons, many from abroad and not seen widely here, depicting this, along with other TrumpWorld horrors. But first, two films that have been have been denied wide audiences because of their take on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
“No Other Land,” created by an Israeli-Palestinian collective, has received many awards and now an Oscar nod—but has failed to find a distributor in the U.S. Trailer:
My friend Alex Gibney’s “The Bibi Files” has been screened in many cities and was shortlisted for an Oscar this year but has not gained airing via a major streaming service. But you can find it at Jolt and Alex provides the code BIBIDC100 so you can watch for free. Trailer:
