More commentary from Colbert and Kimmel, "The Lady in the Pink Jacket," and numerous cartoonists, plus some new music.

Update: Bruce Springsteen just out at mid-day with new protest song “Streets of Minneapolis,” name-checking Renee and Alex, no less. He writes, "I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.”
Oh our Minneapolis, I hear your voice
Singing through the bloody mist
We’ll take our stand for this land
And the stranger in our midst
Here in our home they killed and roamed
In the winter of ’26
We’ll remember the names of those who died
On the streets of Minneapolis
Stephen and Jimmy last night, still focused on Minnesota:
Fascinating interview last night by Anderson Cooper on CNN with the so-called “woman in the pink jacket” who filmed the key video proving that Alex Pretti was murdered.
I watched him die… then I watched them maneuver his body like a rag doll— only to discover it was because they wanted to count the bullet wounds and see how many they ‘got’, like he was a deer.
Kaitlan Collins reacts: “Wow. The woman who recorded Alex Pretti’s shooting tells @andersoncooper she has still not been contacted by anyone in the federal government as part of its investigation.”
In a joint statement, Representatives Hakeem Jeffries of New York, Katherine Clark of Massachusetts and Pete Aguilar of California: “Kristi Noem should be fired immediately, or we will commence impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives,” they wrote. “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.”
But, you know, the media still insists on covering stuff like this, sadly from The Guardian:
Sydney Sweeney was ‘not authorised’ to hang her bras on Hollywood sign, say site owners
Rachel Scott of ABC last night:
Just spoke to Pres. Trump. I asked him if he had seen the video of Rep. Omar being attacked and sprayed by a substance. “No. I don't think about her. I think she's a fraud. I really don't think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her,” the president said. I asked again if he had seen the video. “I haven't seen it. No, no. I hope I don't have to bother.”

The New York Times:
Administration Social Media Posts Echo White Supremacist Messaging
A flurry of posts from the White House, Department of Labor and Department of Homeland Security have included images, slogans and even a song used by the white nationalist right.
And there’s this: The measles outbreak in South Carolina is now the largest in the United States since the disease was declared eliminated in this country more than two decades ago.
The annual, and long-running, ceremony was held yesterday announcing the current status of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’ famous Doomsday Clock. Sadly, it gained another four seconds closer to midnight, now resting at just 85 seconds before our End. The clock is now the closest to midnight since its introduction in 1947.
“The Doomsday Clock’s message cannot be clearer,” Alexandra Bell, president and CEO, Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, said. “Catastrophic risks are on the rise, cooperation is on the decline, and we are running out of time. Change is both necessary and possible, but the global community must demand swift action from their leaders.”
