A lot to get to today, so here goes. First, you may have read about the outbreak of funny animals in cities now invaded by Trump’s troops and goons. Even MAGA claims that there’s some of conspiracy (no doubt funded by Soros?) to ship costumes to hot spots. So Colbert covered it last night, with an assist from Kermit.
Out in Portland the animals did their thing to the tune of Woody Guthrie’s “All You Fascists Bound to Lose.”
We are big Marc Maron fans here and have known for months that he was quitting his long-running podcast this fall but it kind of crept up on us so we were surprised yesterday when he posted video of his final hour—with someone named Barack Obama.
Kimmel’s monologue last night….
…as Stephen posted his chaotic Colbert Report interview with Diane Keaton….
Larkin Poe, those bluesy gals we love, have started posting “unplugged” versions of great songs off their most recent album, though they sound pretty electric to me. This is about as good as it gets, “If God Is a Woman”:
…..and “Bluephoria.”

Continuing my new feature, from my camera to you, let me know what you think. Snowy Owl in rare sighting this far south on the Hudson River off Piermont.

The colors in the Snowy Owl photo are spectacular! I enjoy all of your posts, but the photo knocks me off my feet today and inspires joy in my heart.
