Just a quickie, after the surprise re-forming of (all members of) R.E.M. for last night’s induction into the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame. Jason Isbell, fellow Southern boy deeply influenced by them, did the honors and played. Other inductees included Steely Dan and Timbaland. Below R.E.M. got the full interview treatment on CBS morning show and then watch them do “Losing My Religion” for first time together since 2007, it is said.
As for myself, last I saw Buck and Mills was with The Baseball Project, still touring this summer.
