As noted previously, I have not been posting regularly due to finishing my third documentary in the past 18 months (see below). That’s winding down now so I am coming up for air. So here is something today, starting with the posting last night on YouTube for the first time of Dylan’s little-known, one and only live performance of his buddy George Harrison’s “Something.” Enjoy, then subscribe, it’s still free.
My So-Called Film Career
Updates: My first film, from 2021, Atomic Cover-up, just won another award, from the phenomenal (opening in October) Barrymore Film Center in Ft. Lee, NJ, site of the birth of the U.S. movie industry. And later this month the film gets its 17th film festival screening, in Ridgewood, NJ.
Meanwhile my new film, The First Attack Ads: Hollywood vs. Upton Sinclair, is getting its world premiere this Wednesday at the long-running Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, and already slated for other fests, including the Oregon Film Festival (where it is one of five finalists for Best Documentary and Best Director) and the Philadelphia International Film Festival. And it has just been selected for airing via one of the country’s largest PBS outlets this autumn. Here’s the trailer:

Song Bonus
Largely forgotten 1966 classic from always underrated Spoencer Davis Group with Stevie Winwood, still only 16. Live, not lip-synched.
congrats on all your film awards! Oregon Film Fest is right in our backyard!
It's something how we keep on running.
