Launching a rare Friday night “emergency” post, but nothing died this time— except maybe America’s standing in the world and in the moral universe. Still reeling from the Trump/Vance attempted bullying of Zelensky in the Oval Office, no less, before live cameras—as planned—which many sane and normally restrained commentators are calling one of the low points in recent U.S. history.
With little time, and really too much strong commentary to cite from so many, let me respond as I often do, with the brilliant—and amazingly quick—responses from U.S. and foreign cartoonists. No music this time to lighten the mood, but plenty coming in the morning. Or is that mourning?
