Greg, I've only been reading your newsletter for a short time, but I love it - it's become essential reading for me. It's so refreshing to have a voice of sanity (and music tidbits and political humor too) amidst all the craziness we're all living through. I was so happy to see it pop up in my inbox today, and hope you'll continue it. I'll do my best to get some other friends to join the list.
I'm looking forward to the movie - the preview whetted my appetite. The idea that Thalberg was behind the attack on Sinclair is sort of sickening - but I guess things haven't changed. Look at that B-movie actor who went on to become President with attack ads using Willie Horton.
Thank you so much for this surprise newsletter which I didn't even know I was subscribed to. Allison Russell is making me so contented this morning -- to finally hear something so real and so good and powerful... I will share with my daughters. Linda
Sorry to read that a lack of comments about your absence caused an extension. I am one of the folks who appreciates your newsletters but didn’t question the void. Sorry. I hope you continue to spend time putting out your observations, musical notes and stories. Thanks.
Great having you back. You have introduced this senior citizen to music is missed out on. No excuses but I was busy teaching elementary school and raising a couple of kids.Lot's of time now!
Joni wished she had a river she could skate away on; Ian skated away on thin ice of a new day; Democracy slowly melts away.
So glad you're back! I'm always glad to have your insights (and your music suggestions!).
