If his terrible nominee RFK Jr gets confirmed It’s because the Republicans have no spine, they’re scared of his retribution. he is ruling by fear and intimidation. This is not in the constitution! I tried to post this on Threads in reply to someone else’s post three times, and would not be posted. It kept saying ‘failed to post’. it was doing that with my replies all day yesterday too. What’s the story with that? So I came over here to Substack and posted it.
I honestly don’t think they will open their eyes, yet. They will when it starts hitting them. When it costs so much to fill their cars with gas, when their teenage daughter needs womens healthcare and can’t get it, when they realize they voted to get their health benefits slashed. When their mother in law is now living with them because she can’t get long term Medicaid for that assisted living facility. Maybe then they may realize.
The whole thread of those cartoons reflects my general feeling of malaise and darkness at the general direction of our country. Michael de Adders cartoon about covers it best.
