Officially 160 000 tickets sold. A brutal gate crashing of 340 000 people took the total of people at the concert up to 500 000 people organisers later confirmed.

Biggest concert in Springsteens career and the most important Concert ever played considering What happened 16 months later. As is quoted by Eric Kirschbaum. This concert was much more important than Wood Stock considering What happened afterwards. The concert is the most important concert ever played. It is in a league of its own. Nothing comes close to the Bruce Springsteen East Berlin concert.
