I do remember as a college student stuck in my somewhat backwards hometown of Niagara Falls in the late 1960s when my lifeline to the cooler outside world (before I subscribed to, yes, Rolling Stone) was the VV, which I picked up every week a couple of days after it was published at a local newsstand, with articles by, among others, LKT IV.....
