Saw Paths of Glory for the first time last year. It rocked me. One of my top 5 now along with my all time favorites- To Kill a Mockingbird. Philadelphia story with Hepburn, All the Presidents Men, and The Thin Man.
Gance's NAPOLEON is being restored, once more, with help from Netflix this time around. Very excited for it, though can it live up to the movie I made in my mind when reading Kevin Brownlow's book on it? I'm glad it made your list! :)
Great list. Here are my additions:
Boogie Nights
Pixote
Breathless (Goddard)
Y tu mama tambien
Out of the Past

That's cool!
I haven't yet, but would be glad to by the end of the week :)
