I love this! (I had just started an as agency that specialized in music and audio w clients like Korg, Marshall, Zildjian, Yamaha drums, Paul A Rothchild, Manny’s Music, blah blah...) I was at an AES where Neil Young gave a scathing keynote on CDs. Bravo!
"I pulled my medium-length blonde hair behind my ears, not unlike John Lennon’s look at that time...and just days after losing that Baskin & Robbins job." --Greg, much enjoyed your up and down journey to Crawdaddy. Yes, your eventual autobiography would be an interesting read.
Just a fascinating story! I am new to writing but I have done a few pieces on the Muscle Shoals scene in the 70's. I would love anyone's feedback on my latest. Be forewarned, I'm no Greg. Lol.

started on 106th St. between Columbus and Amsterdam, then escaped to 99th and West End, finally Barrow St. in the Village
