Just one observation: Roy had an excellent 1962 songs-wise, but I would argue that Ricky too had an excellent year, with hit tunes like Teenage Idol. I certainly would pick 1963 for Roy as and it was no longer even a contest in ‘64… but then in ‘65 Roy only had the small hit Ride Away for his new MGM label and that was that.
