Greg, Love the Beatle Paul Superbowl 39 Half-Time. As for The Boss--Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out, Born To Run, Working On A Dream, Glory Days--all great performances as well.

The Boss is trying...but the "Twice Impeached Ex Prez" has lead such a movement to fracture the country that it will take years and multiple election cycles to restore any semblance of normalcy. That being said, we can't quit trying

Bruce's message is a good one and much-needed, but I fear he'll end up preaching to the choir. He's become a polarizing figure for the right, and they dismiss what he has to say -- often without even listening.

Also a lot of blowback on Twitter etc. of his embracing "the middle" when there is not much of that left, its suggests too much compromise, and especially setting ad in one of most rightwing, white nationalist, parts of USA while claiming it as "common ground"....use of white Christian churches...land stolen from Native Americans....etc. etc.

Today was a great day to run Kristoff's piece on Costco's chickens. I learned (with great disgust) from several sources that Americans eat 1.25 billion pounds of chicken wings on Super Bowl Sunday alone!
