Greg, As I saw the announcement I wondered immediately if you would get the Sonny Rollins version of Who By Fire. We are on the same wavelength. Best music night of all times for me was at McKies Lounge in Chicago, with Sonny, Jim Hall, Billy Higgins ... Looking forward to your site. Tom Baughman
Glad to see you're re-reading White Noise and that it holds up. I loved it the first time and wondered if it would still be good all these years later. I'll wait till you're done and give it the thumbs up before diving in again.
Excellent. A wonderfully curated piece on one of my favorite artists. The text and the video was great. I have shared with a couple of friends who are also big fans.
Thanks for this! I know of Cohen but have always meant to dig deeper into his catalog. What a delight to have a guided tour, so to speak. Looking forward to future entries in this series!
The first doc isn't available (in my zone), can you give us details on it so we can pursue it?
..."Here’s an amazing Canadian doc on “young” Leonard when he was known only as a novelist and poet and, in 1965, just about to make his move into music..."
Wow, I missed some of this the first pass! Epic commentary, and well-chosen music. A lot of my favorites. Joni’s “That Song About The Midway” was also Leonard-inspired, as I’m given to understand. PS thanks for the shout-out
Hi Greg, you might consider a mention of the passing, at 94, of Rupert Neve, the British audio legend whose Neve recording consoles are the recording holy grail. You'll recall the Dave Grohl doc from 2013 celebrating the 8028 Neve board. If you don't know of him I'll offer a dime store analogy: what Sgt. Pepper is to music so Rupert Neve is to audio. Cheers
This will give me something to look forward to every isolated weekend. Thanks for taking the tme to put all of this together.

thanks, any relation to Duane Baughman?
Yep, his father is my brother. And I am involved with Campaign. Great story, and most important for our times.
A great beginning of your new Sunday feature.

You put a lot of work and care into this profile, and accordingly, it is superb, truly enjoyable and informative. Thank you.
